One of the first pool enclosure models we sold at Abrisol, the Tabarca is a favorite among our clients due to its simplicity, adaptability, and extensive customization options. This enclosure is a fixed model, meaning it cannot be removed, either fully or partially, as it remains in place once installed. However, thanks to its design and height, it offers a spacious and habitable area. Additionally, it can be fully opened through its side modules, as shown in the following video. This model is available in high and mid-high profile versions, but it can also be adapted to cover large pools, such as Olympic-sized pools, as well as hot tubs.

Colors

The structure of the Tabarca enclosure can be customized in the colour of your choice, as you can select from the extensive RAL chart—the widest on the market. Cream, blue, maroon, black… Choose the one you like best. Additionally, you can even opt for a wood-effect colour and select a matte or glossy finish.

Height

As mentioned earlier, the Tabarca enclosure is available in high and mid-high versions and even in a larger size for Olympic and communal pools, such as those in hotels, campsites, and sports centres. This allows clients to choose the option that best suits their needs.

Dimensions

Since all our pool enclosures are designed and manufactured to be tailor-made, their dimensions can be customized to meet our clients' exact needs. We can create an enclosure that follows the edge of the pool or make it larger to provide extra space for sunbeds or other outdoor decorations. The client chooses the size, and we bring it to life.

Materials

Another element that can be customized is the material used to manufacture the back, front, sides, and roof of the pool enclosure. Clients can choose between transparent or alveolar polycarbonate and glass, with the option to select the level of transparency for the material.

Openings

Although the Tabarca enclosure is a fixed model, its design allows for certain openings, as the sides can be removed. The sides of the Tabarca enclosure are made up of two rows of removable panels, which can be taken off as desired, creating an open, ventilated space while still providing sun protection during swimming. The enclosure offers several options for customization regarding openings, including: complete closure, partial opening for ventilation, removal of the top side modules to create a security fence, full opening, and independent opening of specific modules (e.g., some from the top row, some from the lower row, etc.).

Access

In addition to the panel openings, the Tabarca pool enclosure can have other access options. This allows you to choose the type of access for the enclosure, whether it’s a single or double sliding door, or even a side access if needed.

Retractable option

The Tabarca enclosure is a fixed model, but if you like the design and prefer it to be retractable, we can make that possible with the help of our team of engineers and technicians. Since we design and manufacture our enclosures in-house, we can fully customize them to meet your tastes and needs.

Lean-to Pool Enclosure Option

Thanks to its design, the Tabarca enclosure can be installed as a lean-to against a nearby wall, maximizing the use of available space. This configuration also opens up great possibilities for your outdoor area, as it allows the pool to be directly connected to your home through a door.

Spa Option

The final adaptation available is modifying the pool enclosure to suit a hot tub, making it smaller and therefore ideal for the space required for an outdoor jacuzzi.

Features of the Tabarca pool enclosure

Not only the Tabarca enclosure but all Abrisol models are manufactured using high-quality materials and designed to be both aesthetic and functional. Some of the main technical characteristics include:

Thermo-lacquered aluminum structure, 3 mm compact polycarbonate side, 4 mm bottom and 10 mm honeycomb polycarbonate roof. These materials have properties with many advantages such as good optical properties, good resistance to scratches, weathering and aging. In addition, due to their characteristics, they are visually attractive with a glossy surface and excellent color stability.

It does not have a profile on the floor or access rails. Being a fixed roof, the Tabarca roof is formed by removable side modules without rails that allow leaving the roof completely open, allowing a comfortable access to the roof from any point as well as the evacuation of water accumulated on the floor from the bathroom, condensation or cleaning buckets.

Aluminum “Gore Tex” membrane for sealing joints that prevents internal condensation of the polycarbonate and allows for optimum ventilation.

Safety locks approved by NF-P90-309 standards that make it impossible for the youngest members of the household to enter the roof without a key, preventing possible accidents.

Although our covers have a great resistance and durability thanks to their design and materials, all Abrisol covers have a 10-year backward warranty.
